I designed this piece in January 2009 and was originally created in memory of my grandmother who passed away from her battle with Type II Diabetes in March 2007 and in honor of those who are going through some personal "journeys" of their own.
I added the item to the Brenda Novak’s 5th Annual Online Auction for Diabetes Research. I know it will find a treasured home:-)
