Success!!! I'm going to Pratt!!

After Monday, I didn't make a single sale..my camera died and it seemed like the "evil red man" was just rolling on the floor laughing at me. So I got fed up, braced my knee, packed up my table, jewelry and cards I made for Mother's Day over the weekend, and went downtown.

I usually vend on the weekends but I had a friend who let me share his spot yesterday..for a small fee lol!. 10 hours later..I made the rest of the money I needed to pay for the classes!!

I will be taking an Introduction to Jewelry Arts/Metal Crafts Course. This teaches basic metal arts for jewelry/accessory making. I will learn how to sawing, texture and rivet metal, solder, stone set and more. This is a picture of one of the studios used in the Art and Design Department. I don't know if I will be working is particular one, but it sure is cool.

This is a pic I found of some of the tools I will be using. Here you see:

• A3 acrylic sheet
• Case fan
• USB cable
• Protective gloves
• Hot-air paint stripper
• Soldering kit
• Clamps
• Workbench
• Wire wool

I don't need the gloves, cable, soldering kit or clamps but I will have to save up for the paint stripper. WOOOO HOOOO! I am soo happy!
