Strength - Motivational Monday -Meditation

Long day? Worried about the week before you?

I have something for you.

.Open it , its dimensions were no bigger than the palms of your hands. But it's depth was vast..the more you looked into it the wider it will become.

Deep and inviting, place your heads inside,... it is soft.....it spreads like warm, wet sand seeping between your toes..up your arms..You feel light, your eyes closed, what? lavender?...oh, the smell so calming. Sink deeper,..hands down, head to chin ..deep calm.

The room vibrations were a hum like a Omm. the sound of harmony ...not a digital buzz..but a murmur. Shante...be still.

Breathe in...fill your diaphragm grow the tingle of cool oxygen ...the life fire that heals within....You have found you ..Be at peace..welcome home.

Propped Up for the Weekend

The Product reviews I expected to post yesterday are postponed till Monday. Exhaustion and knee pain got the best of me tonight so I will be resting . But at least I listed some more items in Nyblaque's that I relocated from my Smallindulgence shop. Now, I can catch up on some blog reading myself!

You can check out a wonderful interview I posted yesterday with awesome soap maker SoapRehab. I will be reviewing the soap I purchased from her hopefully next Friday. You can read the interview at MYINDIELOVE .

Have a happy weekend.

Meditation

A gift came to me today. it was so pretty, gold and sparkly with lots of satin bows.

For the past few days, i have so much to blog about, yet so little time..as i started to write tonight, this is what i experienced..my inner poetess surfaced as she usually does.

In Reflection

I am currently gathering a reflective blog post for 2008. I hope to have it finished before January 1st. In the meantime, I just wanted to thank all those who are following my blog and have subscribed as well. I truly appreciate your interest.

For me, blogging has become more than an advertisement for my crafting but a semi-personal journal. Lets face it, the only thing between us right now is miles of physical distance, continents a computer screen and the Internet.

My on-line shops can only tell you so much about me, but all of us are consumers on some level. So what makes most of us come back to a favorite store over and over again. Familiarly and trust..a connection that you're comfortable with. In an online shop all you have at first glance is presentation, pics, and price. Every purchase is a chance based on the "three P's.

I personally decided to start sharing poetry, random blurbs, pics of my family and me. Coming from an ex-model that's may be weird, but I 'm not 17 anymore either..gotten really camera shy over the years. I wanted to show the person behind the shop..that who I am and what I do is real and all me, the ups and downs, joys and stress that I go through as a seller ...and as a human.

Sometimes all this technology and fast paced living makes it easy to forget the humanity behind artisans and their work. That's the MAIN reason I also started my artisan feature blog- to put the spotlight on OTHER indie artists and their crafts.

I look forward t o spending more time working one my indie blog next year and the exposure it will hopefully bring to so many talents out there.

Thanks for visiting

Be Well,

Ny

I remember this one

I love to write poems...its a passion of mine. Poetry became my vent to say what I couldn't dare out loud..especially when I was in love. Here is a poem I wrote to someone I was crazy about.....
YOU
I took a mental picture of you the day me met. To burn you in my mind lest I would not forget. It was that first glance, the welcome in your smile. Your eyes that said come closer to me, the memory alone drives me wild. You're the reason my body feels like a child. Vying for your attention, craving your affection. As a young girl I dreamed you, now you're reality, true perfection.
No treasures can quite compare to the knowledge you hold and wisdom you share. The intensity within your stare tell me your desires, your fears and your cares. You want to get close but i back away. The sounds of your voice compels me to stay. The intensity in your eyes leaves no doubt that you wish, to fulfill the desire of sharing a first kiss. The tenderness in your lips release guarded emotion. A prelude to soft sighs and passionate devotion.
In this moment I learn you're that man, of which women will search. They say women choose their man. But at this moment it is YOU who chose me first.
