HEy Family whats shakin???

So as you know Nyblaque is no more and yes I mean it this time;-) I have a new shop called Beadhappy @ Artfire.com this is where my feathers and destash bead and craft supplies have been relocated. My jewelry and eco crafts are also at Artfire and Zibbet.com . I won't be making jewelry with gemstones anymore. So what pieces you do see listed that have gemstomes where already made before the transfer.


So what to do with this blog?? I am going to go back to featuring indie artists, hosting giveaway local events here in the city and some random fun stuff. I will start posting sometime in April.

My second blog, SwanRiverStone has been deleted and all post imported here. So feel free to follow both blogs or pick one of your favorite. Either way I appreciate your support.

Breaktime Over

Yep, I was on semi- vacation but I had to go back to work earlier than planned. But this time I finally have some help YAY!! My cousin is in town from Connecticut for the next few months so we will be taking turns managing the home front and my online shops. My own assistant .. I feel so special lol!!

I can't tell you know much better the time management is going around here lately. This also allowed me to set up my Artfire shop early as I get ready to transfer from Etsy. Huzzah! I added Artfire cool kiosk feature to my Facebook and will be adding my Rapid Cart soon on my blog.

My Nyblaque shop is set to close October 31. But I will be leaving with a special gift to give... what is it.. you'll have to read tomorrows' post.

Modern Love -Anniversary Greeting

Hello- Anniversary Greeting Card

Hey family,

I haven't gone to sleep yet. With 10 hrs till the fair later today and a custom card order I have been working up a storm!

I am going to get a few hours of sleep soon..but I wanted to post this card I just added to my ArtfireShop before I retire for the night.
At first, this is how I started the card but I didn't like the color scheme after a while....


I thought why not try black and medium olive green instead to contrast the white undertones. The love quote is inspired by the "Jerry McGuire" movie. I hope to make another one in silver.

Independance Day Card

I just made this card a few hours ago for my Artfire shop. I love how it came out. At first I was skeptical about how the flag design was going to play but I really think it has a very modern patriotic edge to it. Dare to Dream is a great card as this phrase reminds us what the foundation of our country as based on and all of those who so desperate want or need to do this in their own lives- DARE to be free,original , Independent, strong ...dare to dream.

I have about five more that I made for Independence Day ( U.S.Holiday -Celebrated July 4th) that will be posted tomorrow. What do you think??
