Natural Weddings from North to South

Sigh.. I love weddings. They are soo romantic and beautiful and fun. I would have never thought that selling peacock feathers in my shop would turn into a new niche-bridal orders! I have been making so many custom wedding orders with these blonde feathers. It's been a blast to create something so wonderful to help a bride feel beautiful on her special day. I need a fresh and new jewelry idea to create something wonderful and well-remembered.

These earrings were made for a bridal party in Orlando,Florida for September 1st. I just added a couple of simple light silver freshwater pearls to each earring. The bridal theme was vintage ivory and silver with a bohemian twist.

Oh!! I wish I could get customers who weren't so camera shy! LOL!! Wouldn't that be the best to see how they would look on them;-) The next picture is my favorite. I love how the tree and leaves make the earrings look so surreal in a natural setting.

This set below is three out of five pairs of earrings for the bridesmaids of my New York bride. Her wedding is in mid- September. She just saw the pictures yesterday and LOVES them. I will be adding a "wispy" curly look to the tips of the feathers. The wedding color theme is more modern romantic with cream, black and dark silver.

I am making a special pair just for the maid of honor with a pearl spray style. I can't show you that one just yet as I need the seal of approval from the blushing bride first;-)

The weather this weekend was so cold and depressing that the warm sun and bright blue sky was just the pick me up I needed and the lighting was PERFECT to take pictures. I've decided to list both styles in my Etsy shop.

I have never won a giveaway before so naturally I was so excited and grateful to be the winner of this custom charm necklace. Each custom charm is of heirloom quality and hand-stamped with your personal message or engraving with a sweet freshwater pearl and swarovski crystal as accent beads. I asked CT to have my daily mantra "Never Give Up" added to the charm - I think it came out perfectly.


I didn't get a chance to take a picture of me wearing it- but I'll add that here later . I really like the adjustable length of the leather cord and the cool little little jingle it makes when I move every now and then- it kinda has a meditative Zen to it. ;-)

What I also love the most is the cool eco- friendly packaging it came in. I love this delicately decorated, screw top tin container- I can reuse this for small beads on the go at my vendor table, or to carry my tea bags in. There are so many possibilities and my carbon footprints will barely be visible. Not to mention it's super easy advertising- I've gotten so many compliments on the necklace - then the follow up question "Where did you get that" got a quick answer with the twist of the cap! Awesome idea CT;-)
