Ahh Summer Weddings-Customer Appreciation Photo

Hey Family;-)

You guys know I LOVE weddings and am no stranger to creating something for a beautiful bridal bash. As an admirer, I am inspired by the true glow of love and joy in a wedding couples eyes and hearts. Whether in person or captured on film or print.

As a seller, it is truly a humbling experience and honor for any purchase that comes from either one of my Etsy shops to be included a one of the most life changing and loving experiences in ones life.

Congrats to the both you and many long and happy yrs to come! Thank you for sharing this with me. OK, I'm getting misty-eyed..seriously... danggit, I hate when that happens;-)

Winter White Wish List- Etsy Treasury

I finally snagged an Etsy Treasury! It's the first one I have made in a long time probably 18months. I added a few Team members from EtsyProject Embrace. It also includes the alternate listings to the left of the Treasury in the grey shaded area. So what do you think? Would you like to see this one of the Front Page;-)

Natural Weddings from North to South

Sigh.. I love weddings. They are soo romantic and beautiful and fun. I would have never thought that selling peacock feathers in my shop would turn into a new niche-bridal orders! I have been making so many custom wedding orders with these blonde feathers. It's been a blast to create something so wonderful to help a bride feel beautiful on her special day. I need a fresh and new jewelry idea to create something wonderful and well-remembered.

These earrings were made for a bridal party in Orlando,Florida for September 1st. I just added a couple of simple light silver freshwater pearls to each earring. The bridal theme was vintage ivory and silver with a bohemian twist.

Oh!! I wish I could get customers who weren't so camera shy! LOL!! Wouldn't that be the best to see how they would look on them;-) The next picture is my favorite. I love how the tree and leaves make the earrings look so surreal in a natural setting.

This set below is three out of five pairs of earrings for the bridesmaids of my New York bride. Her wedding is in mid- September. She just saw the pictures yesterday and LOVES them. I will be adding a "wispy" curly look to the tips of the feathers. The wedding color theme is more modern romantic with cream, black and dark silver.

I am making a special pair just for the maid of honor with a pearl spray style. I can't show you that one just yet as I need the seal of approval from the blushing bride first;-)

The weather this weekend was so cold and depressing that the warm sun and bright blue sky was just the pick me up I needed and the lighting was PERFECT to take pictures. I've decided to list both styles in my Etsy shop.
So, what do you think?
Thanks for visiting. Have a great sunday night.
Be as beautiful as you are;-)

Purplelicious!--New Listing Funky Purple Peacock Feathers!

Hey Family, Happy Wednesday;-)

Purplelicious!!!

That was the first thing my daughter said to me after I removed them from their protective sleeve:-) I have to admit these are hot! Such a funky deep purple/violet color,.. even the eye is purple but still has it's famous iridescence.

I adore the color purple and just had to have these in my shop. Purple is one of the most favored colors of the Fall and Spring seasons.I haven't seen a Fall trend yet in which Purple wasn't included;-)

Right now I have two listings on one 6"pair and and a set of four 12" tails or stems. Shipping is worldwide as always -except to countries that do not allow feathers at all. Although these are synthetic..there may still be restrictions so please check with your state/country laws regarding bird by product laws.

So what do you think??

Thanks for visiting-

Be Fabulous!

DIY - Home Decor with Peacock Feathers

Hey Family;-) Happy Labor Day Weekend!

Sorry I haven't been the most chatty blogger lately- things have been a little busy at home, and peacock feathers sales have been the rage in my shop lately. With orders flooding in from the UK and Netherlands and bridal orders from the U.S and Canada, for a flightless bird's it's best features have had me flying!

In my spare time- which I rarely have, I 've been watching the Home and Garden Television Channel on cable. I am fascinated with all the amazing home decor and remodeling ideas used from even the simplest every day items that literally reinvent any home and garden.

During a commercial break I glanced at the bundle of peacock feathers laying across my old Wurlitzer piano and suddenly had an A-HA moment- I have been marketing these peacock feathers towards the jewelry and accessory market, I never thought about Home Decor!!

I grabbed a dozen feathers, an old flower vase and one of my bamboo place mats. I wrapped the mat around the vase and tied it together. Filled the vase halfway with garden pebbles and carefully placed each stem in different spots in the vase so they would stand up straight and pretty.

There you have it - a nice centerpiece for your piano or even a decorative touch to add to your window sill- I couldn't get the best lighting for these pictures but I wanted to just show you to give you some ideas of your own. I will try to post how I actually made the centerpiece later.

I probably won't be blogging for several days again as I am in the middle of moving and working on a bridal order of six pairs of feather earring for a New York State wedding in a few weeks! Plus I just got my hands on some Purple dyed synthetic peacock feathers that should be arriving from upstate soon - I can't wait to see what they look like!

What are you doing this weekend? Did you post today? Share your comment or you blog link in the comment box- remember keep it clean! Thanks for visiting. I hope I inspired you today;-)

Be Well,

Patchfirstshop is an amazing jewelry and graphics artist. She creates beautiful backgrounds for blogs, avatars, banners etc. It's was Patchfirstshop's who designed the blog background for TimelesspaperArts.

My Orange Hexagon Earrings were included in the guide.

The next best thing to being considered for a bridal gift guide is to actually have an item of yours be a part of a wedding!

These were purchased by a blushing bride to be in Australia for her wedding. I wish I had some pics to show you.Maybe she'll send me some after the honeymoon.
