Creativity Bead Lust 3- Falling for Autumn

OOo la la Autumn! one of my fav seasons. It's not too hot or too cold. It is also the season I find myself in a more Zen state of mind. I love the earthy colors of Autumn too, like Spring only darker and deeper.

I love these ceramic beads in reds, blues and greens

Not to mention earth kissed browns and neutrals. These soapstone beads are great.

I found these odd black speckled ceramic beads and fell in love with them I made this unisex necklace I named Santa Fe.

I made these beaded connectors with cowrie shell and another with beautiful fair trade paper beads from Kampala, Uganda.

I am almost finished with my Mahogany Bracelet-it's a new idea for ethnic inspired accessories I am working on.

Strength -Always Inspired

Always Inspirations was the lucky winner of my Hypnotize Earrings that I featured during my blog giveaway earlier this month. She was sweet enough to post a pic of herself wearing her prize on her blog and stated she hoped I could make a matching necklace.

I was honored to make her request-the Hypnotize Necklace. I can't wait to see how it looks on her. I was truly..Inspired ;-)

The Strength: Whether it is a fellow artist or a client, the best compliment is when you are sought out to use your skills to bring one's unique vision to reality. It 's one of my greatest and humbling honors when my work is appreciated so much.

Creativity- Custom Orders

I made a customized version of the Oval Ebonywood Necklace that I have in my shop that was originally sold in my Nyblaque shop. The original design never had engraving but this was a great idea.

The thing I love the most about custom orders is that my customers challenge me with new ideas! Things they would like to see created that I either thought about but never got around to or simply something new I would like to have the chance to bring bring to life.

Though my client wanted the initials in silver inlay, I personally LOVE the natural wood look the best. This was the "test piece"

Added the wire wrap and chain....

All done:-). This is what the engraving looks like on the back, or the front, however she wants to wear it. I am thinking of offering this necklace with engraving also.

So what do you think?? Thanks for visiting
