"I don't wear gold ever.It doesn't suit me. Well, that's what I've been saying for YEARS. And then these arrived. I bought them because I liked the beads, and I thought I could use the beads for something else if push came to shove. But I am NOT going to do that. The gold DOESN'T make me look jaundiced, and I LOVE these flat hoops. They hang really nicely and are easy to wear. I may have been converted... ;-)" -Lady.Bracknell, United Kingdom
I experimented with the wonderful art of Borosillicate Glasswork beads...and Hypoallergenic earwires. I created these simple designs as a test....so of course when Lady purchased these pairs, excited and nervous was an understatement....but to my delight she had this to say:
"I always expect glass earrings to be dragging on my piercings after a while but these - and the azure ones - just DON'T. Either borosolicate is lighter than standard glass - which seems rather unlikely - or Andrea's handmade earwires are so well-balanced that they negate the weight. Super earrings: artsy, but neat and relatively unflamboyant for the office". -Lady.Bracknell, United Kingdom.

thank you My Lady:)

So....who is the creative genius behind the awesome boro beads..Glassgypsy.etsy.com...
"My name is Jim, and I am a glass addict :). My journey with glass started many years ago, with cold glass. Soon I moved to sand blasting, then onto fusing and slumping. Next was lampworking, and some limited furnace work."-Jim Kuderna.

Jim is a great great guy to work with, one of the sweetest, funniest Etsy men that I have ever met. He truly has a talent that is amazing...his creativity inspires me to learn the art of glasswork, I have designed some of the most beautiful jewelry pieces I have ever made with Jim's beautiful beads. If you want to experience boro beads for yourself and met a very cool, professional Etsian who loves what he does and loves his customers the same....visit http://glassgypsy.etsy.com
