The "Journey" Pendant

Twists, turns and curves. Thoughts of surprises and challenge start at the smooth winding swirls of hammered silver then bring you to the faceted points of joy and triumph in gorgeous pale blue chalcedony teardrop.Experiences leading to beautiful things treasured in the end. A simple, organic piece that expresses some of these things. Life is a winding road, yet traveled differently by everyone.
I designed this piece in January 2009 and was originally created in memory of my grandmother who passed away from her battle with Type II Diabetes in March 2007 and in honor of those who are going through some personal "journeys" of their own.

I added the item to the Brenda Novak’s 5th Annual Online Auction for Diabetes Research. I know it will find a treasured home:-)

Custom Orders for this necklace are welcome if you would like a different metal or stone at the end. just send me a conversation via Etsy or email me at nyblaque@yahoo.com.
