Creativity with a Cause - My Weekend Plans

Sunday June 27, all day: BFTP @ Williamsburg Walks(http://www.williamsburgwalks.org/), Bedford Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211

"Williamsburg Walks is an event on a car-free Bedford Avenue intended to make attendees rethink their public space and to offer a space to celebrate the neighborhood. On Saturday June 26 and Sunday June 27, Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg between N 4th and N 9th Sts will be closed to traffic and filled with local artists,craftsmen, kids activities, walking tours, sidewalk cafés, music, and a giant picnicfrom 1 to 7 pm.

Bags for the People will be teaching bag making all day both days. We will be located in the Skill Share Block with SPACECRAFT where there will be many more fun activities to be done! Also, you can receive rewards when you use your bag with selected merchants!! Learn to sew, support the local economy, and perform environmental activism in one fell swoop!" - Glenn Robinson, BagsForThePeople
