Creativity: Handmade Art and Support for our Troops

I met a wonderful crochet and needlework artist in Etsy chat a few weeks ago. Judith from jabakerarts creates some of the most beautiful crocheted & beaded rings, bracelets, accessories and creatively upcycled clothing for kids and adults.

But my personal fave I think are one of the most romantic and spirtually supportive ways to show love and support for your loved one or significant other serving in the military- not to mention pretty eco friendly too!

How this began...
"I received requests from two young couples for bracelet sets and I thought that the sentiment was really sweet.

The first couple was a young lady who manages a local restaurant. Her boyfriend is in the military service and she wanted to know if I could make a set of bracelets that they could wear to feel connected! I was honored to create this special item for them!

When another young lady who works with the first saw the bracelets being made, she asked if I could make a pair for her and her boyfriend who had just enlisted in the US Army. I was happy to do it for her! "

Thanks so much Andrea! I really appreciate your efforts on my behalf! I'm working diligently to build the stock both on Etsy and on my blog and I'm trying to bring in new ideas regularly!

I will do the same for you! Unfortunately my blog is still in it's fledgling stages and I don't have a lot of followers yet!
